IIT Bombay [IITB] : Placements

1. The Placement Office designates a dedicated point of contact who will handle communication with recruiting organizations.
2. Invitations are sent to these organizations to express their interest in hiring from IIT Bombay. 
3. Recruiters wishing to participate in the placement process can create an online account.
4. Registration is completed upon payment of the required registration fees (applicable only for Placements). 
5. Once registered, recruiters can create job/internship postings that include all the details specified by the Placement Office.
6. The executive officers then verify the accuracy of the job information, including remuneration details and any other relevant information. 
7. Upon successful verification, the job is made available to students through the online platform, following the dates set by the Placement Office.
8.  Interested students indicate their willingness to participate in the recruitment process of a particular company by applying for its job posting. 
9. Companies can view the resumes of interested students and shortlist candidates using their online accounts.
10.  Once the schedule is finalized in coordination with the Placement Office, companies can proceed with their testing and screening processes.
11.  After the initial screening, companies shortlist candidates for the final interview process. 
12. The Placement Office allocates specific dates to organizations for conducting campus interviews based on the information provided by the companies.
13.  Upon confirmation from the organization, the Placement Office finalizes the interview dates. 
14. At the end of the interview slot, organizations provide the Placement Office with a list of selected candidates to whom they are extending job offers. 
15. The Placement Office notifies the organization of the acceptance of the selected candidates.
16.  The organization generates and delivers offer letters to the selected candidates, ensuring that the offer aligns with the job details provided online.
