IIT Ropar [IITR] : Hostel

1. Furnished rooms: All rooms have a bed, study table, chair, almirah, and cupboard.
2. Internet: Free and unlimited WiFi is available in all hostels.
3. Water: All hostels have RO water purifiers and water coolers.
4. Gym: All hostels have well-equipped gyms.
5. Standard rooms: Each hostel has a common room with a TV, table tennis, and other games.
6. Laundry: The hostels have washing machines and dryers.
7. Shops: The hostel complex has four shops selling groceries, stationery, and other essentials.
8. Generator backup: All hostels have generator backup in case of power outages.
9. Room sharing: For the first year, roommates are allocated by the college. For the second year, students have the option of selecting their roommate. Third-year and fourth-year students are usually given single rooms.
10. Mess fees: Mess fees are compulsory for all hostel residents. The mess provides three meals daily, and vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available.
11. Hostel rules: There are many rules and regulations that hostel residents must abide by. These rules are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

The facilities allocated for boys are the same as for girls
