FAQ

 A: Candidates are permitted a maximum of three consecutive attempts for a specific paper. However, candidates need to verify the age criteria for different exams.

 A: Yes, candidates can apply for various categories, including SC/ST scholarships, the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme, and the Scholarship Circular for the National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation.

A: The Internal Training Cell is established to elevate students' skill sets and performance in alignment with industry trends. They facilitate student placements in top companies by inviting reputable companies to the College.

A: Yes, the College provides separate hostels for boys and girls. However, hostel allocation is based on student scores due to limited seats. The hostels offer basic amenities and a mess facility.

A: To qualify for the three-year full-time PhD research program at NIT Raipur, candidates must hold a master's degree from a recognised Institute/University with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. Admission to the Ph.D. program is based on the candidate's performance in the Institute's Entrance Exam/Personal Interview.

A: If a seat is allotted, candidates need to deposit 30,000/- (for GEN OBC/GEN-EWS) and 10,000/- (for SC/ST/PwD) as a Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF). This fee will later be adjusted to the allotted Institute's total fee.

A: Candidates can freely select as many program choices as they wish from the list of eligible PIs and programs. The online choice-filling system displays only those choices for which candidates are eligible based on degree, discipline, GATE paper, and GATE score.
