A: IIT Guwahati offers Dual Degree courses, such as MTech + PhD in Computer Science Engineering and MS (Engineering) + PhD in Electronics and Electrical Engineering. Admissions are granted based on a valid GATE score.

A: The CEED examination is three hours long and consists of two parts. The exam is conducted in English and includes multiple-choice (MCQs) and average compulsory questions.

A: To be eligible for MDes at IIT Guwahati, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree of four years or equivalent in Engineering/Design/Architecture or Interior Design or a Diploma in Design from NID. General category candidates must secure at least 55% marks, while SC/ST/PwD candidates require 50% marks to be eligible.

A: The selection procedure for the PhD program at IIT Guwahati involves preparing a presentation on a topic related to the candidate's discipline. A: Each student at IIT Guwahati has a separate room equipped with basic amenities like lighting, electrical ports, a fan, a chair, a table, and a cot. The rooms are not air-conditioned, and toilets and bathrooms are shared (typically 3 for every ten rooms). Hostels also offer facilities like a mess, canteen, juice centre, stationery shop, library, TV room, sports room for indoor sports, and laundry services.

A: IIT Guwahati is located on the outskirts of Guwahati city, approximately 20 km from the city centre. It takes around 40 minutes to reach the institute from the airport, and it can be conveniently reached by taxi or auto-rickshaw. The institute also provides a bus service that regularly plies between the institute and the city.
