VIT University Vellore Admission Process
VIT Vellore
admission 2024 is entrance-based for most of the courses. The institute
conducts VITEEE for BTech admission, VITMEE for MTech and VITREE for PhD
admission. Besides, VIT University also accepts national-level entrance exams
like NATA, GATE, etc. for admission to specific courses. Vellore Institute of

1. Registration
Candidates need to register for the respective entrance exam conducted by VIT. The university conducts its own entrance exam called VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination) for admission to engineering programs. For admission to other undergraduate programs like B.Sc., BBA, B. Com, etc., the university may have different entrance exams or may accept scores from national-level exams like SAT or JEE Main.
2. Admit Card
After successful registration, candidates will receive their admit cards, which contain details about the exam date, time, and venue.

Entrance
Examination:
Candidates must appear for the entrance exam on the specified date and time. The exam usually consists of questions based on subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Aptitude.

Result
Declaration:
VIT declares the results of the entrance exam on its official website within a few weeks after the exam date. Candidates can check their results using their application number and date of birth.

Counselling
Process:
Shortlisted candidates are invited for the counselling process based on their ranks in the entrance exam. During counselling, candidates can choose their preferred branch of study and campus based on availability and their rank.
6.
Seat
Allotment:
Seats are allotted to candidates based on their ranks, preferences, and availability of seats in the chosen branch and campus.
7.
Document
Verification and Admission Confirmation:
Candidates need to verify their
documents and pay the required admission fees to confirm their seat.
