NIT Sikkim Admissions

NIT Sikkim BTech Admission Process

  1. Apply Online: Candidates can apply online through the JoSAA portal. The application fee for the BTech program is ₹1500 for General and OBC candidates and ₹1000 for SC/ST candidates.
  2. Appear for JEE Main: The JEE Main is a nationwide entrance examination to gain admission to undergraduate engineering programs in India. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
  3. Register for JoSAA Counselling: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts centralized online counselling for admission to NITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). To register for JoSAA counselling, candidates must have a valid JEE Main score.
  4. Fill in the JoSAA Choice Filling Form: During JoSAA counselling, candidates must fill in a choice filling form indicating their preferred NITs and BTechs. Programs.
  5. Seat Allotment: JoSAA will allot seats to candidates based on their JEE Main score, rank, and choices.
  6. Accept Seat and Pay Fee: Once a candidate is allotted a seat, they must accept it and pay the required fees to NIT Sikkim.

Educational Qualifications

Age Limit

NIT Sikkim MTech Eligibility Criteria

NIT Sikkim MSc Admission Process

  6. Submit the Required Documents: After paying the admission fees, you must submit the required documents to NIT Sikkim. The required documents typically include the following:

  7. Attend the Document Verification and Admission Process: Once you have submitted the required documents, you must attend the document verification and admission process at NIT Sikkim. NIT Sikkim MSc Eligibility Criteria

NIT Sikkim PhD Eligibility Criteria

  1. Applicants should hold either a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree in a pertinent field, with a minimum aggregate of 60% for Master's degree holders and 75% for Bachelor's degree holders.
