1. Appear for JEE Main: The JEE Main is a nationwide entrance examination to gain admission to undergraduate engineering programs in India. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
2. Register for JoSAA Counselling: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts centralised online counselling for admission to NITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). To register for JoSAA counselling, candidates must have a valid JEE Main score.

4. Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI): The GD round tests a candidate's communication and teamwork skills. The Personal Interview (PI) round is a one-on-one interview with a panel of faculty members. The PI round is designed to assess a candidate's overall personality, aptitude for management, and motivation for pursuing an MBA degree.

1. A Bachelor's degree from a recognised university is required, with a minimum aggregate of 60% for the general/open category and 55% for the ST and SC categories.

1. The selection of candidates will be based on combined performance in these CAT/MAT/CMAT entrance exams, GD/PI rounds, academic achievements (Class 10, Class 12, and Graduation), and relevant work experience.
2. The ultimate selection of candidates will be determined by assigning 70% weightage to the scores obtained in the entrance examinations and 30% to the GD/PI round.

4. Applicants holding a BE/BTech/BArch/BPlan degree are eligible for direct admission to the PhD program if their CGPA is above 8.5 or 85% in their undergraduate studies.
5. In the case of Management studies, candidates should possess an MBA degree or a 2-year PGDM from an Institute recognised by MHRD/AICTE/UGC.
6. Relaxations: 
1. Reserved category students (SC/ST/PwD) get a relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks/CGPA.
2. GATE/NET qualified candidates from Institutes of National Importance (IITs/IIITs/NITs) are exempted from appearing for the PhD written test.
