1. University Grants Commission (UGC): The UGC is India's apex body for higher education. It is responsible for the promotion and coordination of university education in India. The UGC recognizes IIT Mandi as a deemed university.

6. Medical Facilities: A hospital on campus provides medical care to students, faculty, and staff. The hospital has a 24-hour emergency room and many other departments, including general medicine, surgery, paediatrics, and gynaecology.
7. Other Facilities: There are several other facilities on campus, including a cafeteria, a convenience store, a post office, and a bank. There is also a student centre with some student facilities, such as a game room, a music room, and a dance studio.
