Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College and Hospital Admission Process
The admission process for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programs at Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College and Hospital (VSDCH) is as follows:
Candidates
must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics,
Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects and obtained a minimum
of 50% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) from a recognized
board or council.
Candidates
must have appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)
conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and secured the required
percentile and rank for admission to dental colleges in India.
Candidates
must apply online through the official website of the Karnataka Examination
Authority (KEA) or the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges
of Karnataka (COMEDK) depending on the category of seats they are eligible for.
The application fee varies depending on the category and the number of choices
of colleges and courses.
Candidates
must participate in the online counselling process conducted by the KEA or the
COMEDK and exercise their options for seat allotment. The seat allotment is
done based on the merit, rank, category, and preferences of the candidates.
Candidates
who are allotted seats in VSDCH must report to the college within the specified
time and date and complete the admission formalities. They must submit the
original documents, pay the tuition fee, and sign the bond agreement as per the
norms of the college and the university.
