Vijaybhoomi University : Scholarships

1.     Merit Cum Need Scholarship for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 

The EWS scholarship is granted to students from lower-income backgrounds. In the scholarship, students are offered a 100% tuition and hostel fee waiver. The student only has to pay the registration fee of INR 50,000 (non-refundable) 

2.     Defense Scholarship: 

This scholarship will be awarded on a first cum first basis to wards of parents who are employed by the Defense Services i.e. Army, Airforce, and Navy. 

3.     Exceptional Sports/Performance Scholarship: 

This scholarship will be awarded on a first cum first basis to either those applicants who have represented their state or the country in any national or international sports event or those applicants who have attained and can demonstrate proficiency in performing arts.

  4. Vijaybhoomi University Defense Scholarships

    This scholarship will be awarded on a first cum first basis to wards of parents who are employed by the Defense Services i.e. Army, Airforce, and the Navy.

      To earn this a candidate should have undergone the VU selection process earned qualifying marks prescribed for the merit scholarships and have been recommended by the panel members in the ASP for both admissions and scholarship.

    For a grant of scholarship, a candidate must secure the prescribed qualifying marks, as approved by the Academic Council.

   5. Vijaybhoomi University Exceptional Sports and Performance Scholarships

    This scholarship will be awarded on a first cum first basis to either those applicants who have represented their      state or the country in any national or international sports event or those applicants who have attained and can      demonstrate proficiency in performing arts.

    To earn this a candidate should have undergone the VU selection process earned qualifying marks prescribed         for the merit scholarships and have been recommended by the panel members in the ASP for both admissions       and scholarship.

     For the grant of a scholarship, a candidate must secure the prescribed qualifying marks, as approved by the           Academic Council.

   6. Vijaybhoomi University In-State Student Scholarships

  An established In State Student is eligible to receive education at Vijaybhoomi University at a special fee           which is 50% of the normal credit fee. The special fee shall apply only to the Tuition fee. All other fees are     charged as per normal charges.

The applicants need to provide the HSC marksheet and in the absence of the same will need to share the examination hall ticket assigned by the HSC board. The student will need to provide proof of residence for at least 5 years in Maharashtra.

 The acceptable documents are one of the following listed below.

• Valid Voter Identification card from Maharashtra
• Valid Ration Card with Proof of Residence
• Valid Passport
