T John Group of Institutions is one of the leading educational institutions in Bangalore founded by Dr. Thomas P. John in 1993. The college started with a three-year degree course under hotel management with 24 students. And now, two decades later, the college premises has expanded to include new departments and blocks and spread over an area of 20 acres of land. From 2011 to 2018, the T. John Group of Institutions has produced 31 University Rank Holders. 

The college offers UG and PG programmes under Engineering, Science, Management, Pharmacy, Nursing, streams.

The college offers various Under Graduate and Post Graduate programs. For UG courses, it offers BBA, BHM, B.Com, BCA, B.Sc. in Fashion & Apparel Design (FAD), and BA (Journalism, English, Psychology) Programs. The college offers M.Com, MBA, and MCA Programs for PG.

A department for Happiness..! But, yes it is there. The primary intention of constituting this department is to improve and nurture the Happiness Index in the campus and to help individuals live a happier and more satisfying life. The Department is headed by Dr. Thomas P John, Chairman, TJGI, and member representatives from each institution coming under the TJGI umbrella. It is also the brainchild of the Chairman Dr. Thomas P John.
