1. NIT Uttarakhand offers Admissions For BTech, MTech, and PhD. Programs.
2. BTech Admissions Are based on the JEE Main scores and Followed by the JoSSA Counselling process.

1. Appear for JEE Main: The JEE Main is a nationwide entrance examination to gain admission to undergraduate engineering programs in India. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NIT Uttarakhand offers 5 specialisations under the BTech program in 4 years.
2. Register for JoSAA Counselling: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts centralised online counselling for Admission to NITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). To register for JoSAA counselling, candidates must have a valid JEE Main score.
3. Fill in the JoSAA Choice Filling Form: During JoSAA counselling, candidates must fill in a choice filling form indicating their preferred NITs and BTechs. Programs.
4. Seat Allotment: JoSAA will allot seats to candidates based on their JEE Main score, rank, and choices.
5. Accept Seat and Pay Fee: Once a candidate is allotted a seat, they must accept it and pay the required fees to NIT Uttarakhand.
6. Report to NIT Uttarakhand: If you have been allocated a seat at NIT Uttarakhand, you must report to the college within the specified date and time. You must carry all the required documents, including your JEE Main admit card, rank card, and provisional admission letter.

1. Admissions to the BTech program at NIT Uttarakhand are based on the candidate's JEE Main rank and category.

1. Registration: Candidates have to register online on the DASA website. The registration fee is Rs. 3000 for PIO/OCI/NRI candidates and Rs. 6000 for Foreign National candidates.

3. Payment of Application Fee: The application fee is Rs. 3000 for PIO/OCI/NRI candidates and Rs. 6000 for Foreign National candidates. The application fee can be paid online through the DASA website.
4. Submission of Application Form: Submit the completed application form online. Take a printout of the submitted application form for your records.
5. Online Counseling: The DASA counselling will be held online. Candidates can choose their preferred institutes and courses during the counselling. The counselling schedule will be available on the DASA website.
6. Seat Allocation: Seat allocation will be based on the candidate's merit and preferences. The seat allocation result will be available on the DASA website.
7. Online Reporting: Candidates who have been allotted seats must report online to the allotted institute. The reporting schedule will be available on the DASA website.
8. Admission: Take the original documents to the allotted institute for verification. Pay the admission fee. Get your admission confirmed.

1. You must be a foreign national (FN) studying in any country (including India) or a ward of a Person of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), or Non-Resident Indian (NRI).

1. Appear for GATE and Score a Valid GATE Score: The GATE score is required for all MTech applicants at NIT Uttarakhand. The minimum GATE score required varies depending on the program and category. The institute offers 3 specialisations under the MTech course. The course lasts two years.
2. Register for CCMT Counselling: CCMT (Centralized Counselling for MTech is a centralised counselling process for Admission to MTech programs at NITs and other participating institutes. To register for CCMT counselling, visit the CCMT website and create an account.
3. Fill out the CCMT Application Form: The CCMT application form will require details, academic qualifications, GATE score, and preferred programs and institutes.
4. Lock your Choices: Once you have completed the CCMT application form, you must lock your choices. In order of preference, you must finalise the programs and institutes you are interested in.
5. Participate in CCMT Counselling: CCMT will conduct multiple rounds of counselling. In each round, candidates will be allotted seats based on their GATE score, preferred choices, and the availability of seats.
6. Accept your Seat and Pay the Admission fee: If you are allotted a seat in the CCMT counselling, you must accept and pay it within the stipulated time.

1. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree (BE/B.Tech./B.Sc.) in the relevant field from an accredited university or institution, with a minimum of 60%. Aggregate marks in the final examination. Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor's Degree securing less than 60% aggregate marks may apply if they possess a valid GATE score.

1. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 60% marks. A valid GATE or NET (CSIR/UGC/LS) score is also required. A consistently excellent academic record throughout their studies is essential. Candidates must also be physically and mentally healthy to pursue the Ph.D. program.
