IIT(ISM) Dhanbad [IITISM] : Hostel

IIT Dhanbad has nine hostels, 5 for boys and 4 for girls. All the hostels are air-conditioned and have single occupancy rooms. The rooms have a single bed with a mattress, bedside table, study table, almirah with mirror, revolving chair and visitor's chair. The entire hostel has 24-hour Wi-Fi and LAN facilities.

In addition to the basic amenities, the hostels also have the following facilities:

1. Common washrooms with geysers
2. Recreation rooms with TV, table tennis, and other games
3. Dining halls
4. Kitchens with utensils
5. Induction cooktop, microwave oven, and cooker for cooking purposes
6. Fire extinguisher, Aqua guard water purifier, geyser, washing machine, iron, refrigerator, and projector
7. Lecture hall for reading purposes

The facilities allocated for boys are the same as for girls.
