The placement process at IIT Delhi involves the following steps:

Step 1: The placement office at IIT Delhi sends a comprehensive invitation via Email containing essential information and a registration link.

Step 2: "Various organizations are interested in taking part. The recruitment drive must complete the Job Notification Form (JNF) or Training Notification Form (TNF) included in the Email.

Step 3: Upon submission of the JNF/TNF, the placement office provides the companies with login credentials to access the official IIT Delhi portal.

Step 4: The JNF/TNF encompasses all job and training details. Once the company selects a deadline, these forms are locked, allowing participating students to view the information and apply for relevant positions.

Step 5: The placement office at IIT Delhi allocates an interview slot to the company.

Step 6: On the designated date, the company interviews shortlisted students.

Step 7: Based on the performance during the selection process, the company finalizes the candidate for placement.

Placement Cell: IIT Delhi has a dedicated Placement Cell as a liaison between students and recruiters. The Placement Cell organizes various activities, including pre-placement talks, internships, and final placements.

The placements saw active participation from 156 renowned recruiters, including industry giants like Qualcomm, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, MathWorks, Dell, Synopsys, Adobe, IBM, Accenture, and Complex Systems Laboratory.

Notably, IIT Delhi also achieved significant success in its Summer Internship Placements 2023, with 360 offers made to students. The highest stipend offered during the internship program was INR 1.76 Lakhs per month, showcasing the institute's commitment to providing excellent student opportunities. Moreover, the average stipend for the 2022-23 batch stood at INR 42 K per month, while it increased to INR 81 K per month for the pre-final year batch of 2023-24, underlining the continuous growth and value of IIT Delhi's talent pool.
