IIIT Manipur [IIITM] : Admissions

IIIT Manipur offers  Admissions for various Programs. Like BTech and PhD programs, For  BTech  Admissions based on the JEE Main and JEE Advance scores, Candidates undergo a  counselling process by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority), for PhD Admission is based on the GATE or NET/JRF/SLET/JRF-SRF entrance exams. And Written test and personal interview A panel of experts conducts the interviews By IIIT Manipur.

1. Application: The application form for IIIT Manipur can be filled out online on the institute's website. The application fee is INR 1000 for general category candidates and INR 500 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
2. Apply for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a national-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate engineering programs in India. IIT Manipur considers the JEE Advanced score for admission to the BTech program.
3. JoSAA/CSAB: The application form for IIIT Manipur will be submitted through JoSAA/CSAB. The candidates will be ranked based on their JEE Mains scores and be allotted a seat at IIIT Manipur through online counselling.
4. Document verification: The candidates allotted a seat at IIIT Manipur must submit their original documents for verification. The documents include the 12th standard mark sheet, JEE Mains scorecard, and caste certificate (if applicable).
5. Admission: The candidates who have completed the document verification process will be admitted to IIIT Manipur.

1. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board or university with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/ST candidates).
2. Candidates must have studied Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects in the 10+2 examination.

2. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) handles seat allocation.
3. The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) conducts two counselling rounds for seat allocation.
4. The final admission list considers the student's category and JEE Advanced scores.

1. Application: The application process is online and can be found on the IIIT Manipur website. The application deadline is usually in May or June.
2. Entrance exam: Candidates must take the GATE or NET/JRF/SLET/JRF-SRF exams. The GATE exam is a national-level exam for graduate engineers, while the NET exam is a national-level exam for graduate scholars.
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. The interview will assess the candidate's research potential and suitability for the PhD program.
4. Selection: The selection committee will select candidates based on their performance in the entrance exam, interview, and academic record.

1. Master's degree in Engineering/Technology in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks.
2. Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 7.5 or 70% of marks.
3. SC/ST/Differently abled candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 5% in the minimum CGPA/CPI requirement.

1. The selection of candidates for the PhD program at IIIT Manipur is based on their performance in the written test and interview. The written test consists of (1) a General Aptitude Test and (2) a Subject Test. The interview is conducted by a panel of experts in the candidate's area of interest.

1. Certificate and mark sheet of 10th/SSC, 12th/Intermediate, Bachelor's degree, Master's degree - Self-attested copies
2. Provisional certificate/Degree certificate and Mark memos of the qualifying examinations- Self-attested copies
3. GATE/NET score card- Self-attested copy
4. IMPS/NEFT/RTGS transaction reference- Scanned copy
5. Reservation category certificate in the format as required and signed by the respective authority- Depending on the applicability
6. (NOC) No Objection Certificate by the employer- For employed candidates.
