Hostel for Boys
The Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam (IIIT Kottayam) provides separate hostel accommodations for boys and girls. There are four hostels for boys and one hostel for girls.
The hostels have the following facilities:
- 24x7 water and electricity supply
- Wi-Fi connectivity
- Standard rooms with TV and newspapers
- Laundry facilities
- Medical facilities
- Recreation facilities such as badminton courts, basketball courts, and table tennis tables
The hostel rooms are spacious and well-ventilated. Three students share each room. The rooms are furnished with beds, desks, chairs, and almirahs.
The hostel mess provides three meals a day. The food is generally excellent and hygienic.
The hostel wardens are responsible for the overall management of the hostels. They ensure that the students are comfortable and safe.
Hostel for Girls
The facilities allocated for boys are the same as for girls.
