IIIT Bhopal [IIITB] : Admissions

(IIIT), Bhopal offers a BTech degree in three specialisations. Admissions for BTech are granted based on JEE Mains results and JoSAA Counselling. To meet the requirements for admission, applicants must satisfy the eligibility criteria. Eligibility requirements. 1. Registration: Candidates must first register for the JEE Main examination. Once registered for the JEE Main examination, they can apply for admission to IIIT Bhopal through the JoSAA website.
2. JEE Main: Candidates must appear for the JEE Main examination and secure a minimum qualifying score to be eligible for admission to IIIT Bhopal. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) announces the yearly qualifying score.
3. JoSAA Counselling: Candidates who have qualified in the JEE Main examination will be eligible to participate in the JoSAA counselling process. In the counselling process, candidates will be ranked based on their JEE Main scores and allotted seats in IIIT Bhopal based on their preferences.
4. Document Verification: After the JoSAA counselling process, candidates allotted seats in IIIT Bhopal must undergo document verification. The document verification process will be held at IIIT Bhopal.
5. Payment of Admission Fee: Once the document verification process is complete, candidates must pay the admission fee. Prospective students can make admission fee payments through both online and offline modes.
6. After paying the admission fee, candidates will be issued an admission letter. The acceptance letter will include comprehensive details about the course, fee structure, and IIIT Bhopal's rules and regulations.

1. Candidates must pass 12 in the science stream from a recognised board or university with a minimum of 75% aggregate.
2. Candidates must also pass the Joint Entrance Exam [JEE advanced/main] with a valid score
3. The minimum eligibility requirement to apply for IIIT, Bhopal, is that the students should have a minimum of 50 per cent marks secured in 10+2 with a 5 per cent relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
4. The qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
