Great Eastern Medical School and Hospital : Admissions

1. Register for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and secure a minimum of 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC) percentile to be eligible for admission.
2. Once the NEET results are announced, visit the official website of the Directorate of Medical Education, Andhra Pradesh (DME AP), to apply for the Andhra Pradesh State Counselling (AP State Quota).
3. The DME AP will release a merit list based on the NEET scores. Candidates qualified in the merit list will be called for document verification.
4. After the document verification, the DME AP will conduct a seat allotment process. Candidates will be allotted a seat in the Medical College of their choice based on their NEET rank and available seats.
5. Once a seat is allotted, the candidate must pay the admission fee and submit the required documents to the Medical College.

Step 1: Registration: Register with a valid email ID and password and visit the official GEMS website.

Step 2: Application Form: Log in to the application portal and fill out the online application form with personal details, academic history, and program preferences.

Step 3: Entrance Test: Appear for an entrance test conducted by the College.

Step 4: Interview: Qualify for the interview rounds conducted by GEMS.

Step 5: Result: Receive the provisional admission letter from GEMS based on your performance in the previous steps.

2. Application Process:
1. The application process for BPT at GEMS typically begins in March or April and closes in May or June.
2. Applications are accepted online through the official GEMS website (https://gems.edu.in/).
3. The application fee is around Rs. 1000/-.

3. Entrance Exam:
1. NEET-UG is a common entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate medical courses across India, including BPT.

4. Counselling:

5. Document Verification:

2. Once the documents are verified, candidates must pay the admission fee and other applicable charges.
6. Admission:
1. After completing all the formalities, candidates will be granted admission to the BPT program at GEMS.

5. Document Verification:
1. Once allotted a seat at GEMS&H, report to the College for document verification.

2. Secure a valid score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) exam. The minimum percentile score required for the General category is 50%, 40% for SC/ST/OBC (including PwD of SC/ST/OBC), and 45% for UR PwD.

1. Register for the NEET PG exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).
2. Register for the Andhra Pradesh State Counselling conducted by The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education.
3. Counselling:
1. Participate in the online counselling rounds based on your NEET PG rank and preferred choice of specialisation.
2. Choose GEMS as one of your preferred colleges during the counselling rounds.
4. Document Verification:
1. Once a seat at GEMS is allotted, report to the College for document verification.
