EWIT Bangalore BE Admission Process
- The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computer Science as optional subjects with English as one of the study languages.
- The candidate must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case the candidate belongs to a reserved category) in the above subjects.
- The candidate must have appeared for the KCET or COMEDK UGET entrance exam.
- The selection of candidates is based on the merit list prepared by the institute based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam.
- The candidates will be called for counselling based on their rank in the merit list.
- The candidates must pay the admission fee and submit the required documents to the institute.
EWIT Bangalore BE Eligibility Criteria

EWIT Bangalore MCA Admission Process
- The applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics as a compulsory subject and a minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
- The applicant must appear for the Karnataka PGCET (Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test). The application form for the exam can be downloaded from the official website of the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The exam is usually held in May every year.
- The merit list for admission to MCA at EWIT Bangalore will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the KPGCET. 80% of the seats are reserved for candidates who qualify for the KPGCET, and the remaining 20% are filled through management quota.
- The selected candidates must submit the required documents and pay the admission fee to secure their seats.
EWIT Bangalore MCA Eligibility Criteria
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline with mathematics as a compulsory subject and with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC) in aggregate.
- The candidate should have passed mathematics/statistics/computer science/computer programming/computer applications/business mathematics/business statistics as one of the optional subjects.
EWIT Bangalore MCA Selection Criteria
- The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- There is a relaxation of 5% for reserved category candidates in the minimum eligibility requirement.
- 80% of seats are reserved for admissions through the Karnataka PGCET (Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test), and the remaining 20% are filled through the management quota.
EWIT Bangalore MBA Admission Process
- Eligibility: Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC) from a recognised university.
- Application: The application form can be downloaded from the EWIT website. The application fee is INR 500/- for Indian applicants and USD 15 for international applicants.
- Selection Criteria: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the KPGCET/KMAT/Management exams. 80% of the seats are reserved for admissions through KPGCET/GATE, and the remaining 20% are occupied through management quota.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. A panel of faculty members will conduct the interview.
- Admission Offer: The offer will be made to the short-listed candidates who have cleared the interview.
EWIT Bangalore MBA Eligibility Criteria
- Any bachelor's degree with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC) with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- The candidate should have passed Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Computer Programming/ Computer Applications/Business Mathematics/Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects.

EWIT Bangalore MBA Selection Criteria
Candidates will be chosen for MBA admission based on a valid score in KPGCET, KMAT, or other management exams.
For MBA programs, 80% of the available seats are allocated for candidates who achieve admission via KPGCET or GATE scores, while the remaining 20% are filled through the management quota.

EWIT Bangalore ME Admission Process
- The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E.) or Technology (B.Tech.) in a relevant branch with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC) from a recognised university.
- The candidate must have appeared and qualified for the GATE/ KPGCET entrance exam.
- The application form can be downloaded from the EWIT website. The application fee is INR 500 (for Indian applicants) and US Dollar 20 (for foreign applicants).
- The filled application form and required documents (such as mark sheets, certificates, etc.) must be submitted to the EWIT campus.
- Candidates will be selected based on their GATE/ KPGCET entrance exam performance.
- The shortlisted candidates will be offered admission through email or post.
EWIT Bangalore ME Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must have passed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E.) or Technology (B.Tech.) in the relevant branch with a minimum of 60% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
- The candidate must have passed the GATE or KPGCET entrance exam.
- There is a relaxation of 5% in the minimum eligibility requirement for reserved category candidates.
EWIT Bangalore ME Selection Criteria
- The candidate must have passed B.E. in the relevant branch with 60% marks in aggregate. There is a relaxation of 5% for reserved category candidates.
- The candidate must have appeared and scored the minimum qualifying marks in the GATE/Karnataka PGCET entrance exams. The minimum qualifying marks for GATE are 600 for the general category and 500 for reserved category candidates. The minimum qualifying marks for Karnataka PGCET are 50% for the general category and 45% for reserved category candidates.
- Candidates will be selected based on their GATE/Karnataka PGCET entrance exam performance. The weightage for GATE and Karnataka PGCET is 70% and 30%, respectively.
- 80% of the seats are reserved for admissions through GATE/Karnataka PGCET, and the remaining 20% are occupied through management quota.
EWIT Bangalore PhD Admission Process
- Candidates from India must submit a Cheque / Demand Draft / Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- along with their application.
- Candidates from countries other than India must submit a Demand Draft / Bank Draft of 15 USD along with their application.
- We will mail the EWIT brochure to your provided address upon receipt of the specified amount.
- The Application Form must be accompanied by a Demand Draft / Bank Draft made payable to "East West Institute of Technology, Bangalore," along with an accompanying cover letter.
- Kindly ensure that all communication is conducted in the English language.
EWIT Bangalore PhD Eligibility Criteria
- Master's degree in Engineering or Technology with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 6.75 on a scale of 10, or an equivalent of 55% in overall marks at the bachelor's or master's level.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or M.Sc. in Engineering with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 7.75 on a scale of 10, or at least 70% in overall marks at the Bachelor's level. Additionally, the candidate should have a track record of published research papers in journals or hold patents.
- Possession of an M. Tech. Degree, with successful completion of coursework during the first three semesters, attaining a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 7.75 on a scale of 10, or achieving a total of 70% marks in aggregate.
- A minimum score of 50% is mandatory, with a relaxation of 45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, specifically from Karnataka.
EWIT Bangalore PhD Selection Criteria
- Admission to the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) program is determined through the Entrance Exam, which includes options such as CET, COMED K, or Management quota.
- For the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs, selection is based on the marks achieved in the PG-CET exam.
- As for the PhD program, candidates must pass the Research Aptitude Test.
