Amenities: The Institute believes in providing a holistic living experience. To this end, we offer essential amenities such as drinking water and a backup generator to mitigate any inconvenience caused by power failures.
Security and Discipline: Students' safety is of utmost priority. For this reason, the hostel has a full-time warden appointed to oversee the hostel, ensuring the well-being and discipline of the students. Additionally, security personnel are stationed around the clock, enhancing the overall safety of the campus and hostels.
Separate Hostels for Men and Women: Dr B R Ambedkar Institute Of Nursing provides separate on-campus hostels for male and female students in Kadugondanahalli. These thoughtfully designed hostel buildings offer spacious rooms, lounges, and recreation areas with colour television sets. The Institute aims to create a comfortable and conducive atmosphere for study and relaxation.
Admission Process: Students interested in availing of the hostel facility can apply to the respective hostel warden. The Principal, in consultation with the warden, reviews and approves applications. The names of selected applicants are then announced on the respective hostel notice boards before the College's reopening. It's important to note that the Principal can grant or refuse hostel admission without specifying a reason.
Hostel Administration: Each hostel is administered by its respective warden, and to streamline administrative processes, separate hostel committees are constituted for men's and women's hostels. These committees, consisting of the Principal, four senior professors, the wardens, and two student representatives residing in the hostel, meet regularly to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and disciplined hostel management.
Mess Management: The responsibility of running the mess in both men's and women's hostels falls under the purview of student representatives, who operate under the supervision and guidance of the hostel warden.
Room Allotment: Room allotment is at the sole discretion of the respective hostel warden. Boarders are advised to change their assigned rooms only after obtaining permission from the warden concerned.
Hostel Fees: Students selected for hostel admission must make a non-refundable deposit along with the prescribed rent and other charges, ensuring a seamless and uninterrupted stay.
