A candidate who has completed the 10+2 pattern of examination (equivalent to the two-year Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, and Computer Science, or Students who have opted for Electronics as their chosen optional subjects in the qualifying examination are eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at CITECH.

The eligibility criteria for admission are 50% for General Category candidates and 40% marks in the qualifying examination for SC/ST, Category-1, and OBC Category candidates.
In cases where the marks obtained in Chemistry are insufficient to meet the required aggregate percentage, the marks obtained in Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in place of Chemistry.
