Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute - [BMCRI] : NRI Admissions

BMCRI provides provisions for NRI admissions, allowing students from NRI backgrounds to pursue medical education at the college.

The admission process for the NRI quota at BMCRI may involve the following steps:

• Students must fulfil the above NRI quota criteria
• Applicants must hold a valid passport
• The seats offered under NRI Quota will only be allocated to bonafide NRIs
• Candidates must have qualified NEET exam
• Candidates applying under NRI sponsorship must have a real blood relation to the financial supporter, be it the mother, sister, father, brother, aunt, or uncle. 
• Application: Candidates must apply for NRI quota admission directly to the college or as instructed by the college.

To be eligible for NRI quota admission at BMCRI, candidates must fulfil the following criteria:

• Nationality: Candidates should be of Indian origin or belong to the Indian diaspora settled abroad.
• Candidate must hold a valid passport
• Candidate must have passed 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination. The last two years of study shall comprise Physics, Chemistry, and biology (CPB)together.

• Mark sheet of the Qualifying Examination
• Equivalence Certificate if education is from Foreign Board/University
• Documents claiming that the person who is going to sponsor is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsored)
• Relationship of NRI with the candidate per the court orders of The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in case W.P.(c) No. 689/2017 (CODEUNIK) & Ans. Vs Union of Affidavit from the sponsorer that he/ she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized.
• Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer (Certificate from the Consulate)
• Valid NEET UG Score Card of the candidate
• Passport-size Photographs
• Any other documents specified by the college
