AIIMS Bathinda Admission
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bathinda provides undergraduate and postgraduate admissions opportunities. Selection for AIIMS Bathinda follows a procedure based on the candidate's performance in the entrance examination. For MBBS admissions at AIIMS Bathinda, candidates' performance in the NEET examination conducted by NTA is considered. For M.D./M.S. admissions, the college accepts INI-CET scores. After qualification, candidates are required to participate in the counselling process
AIIMS Bathinda MBBS Admission Process
- The candidate must appear for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination) and secure a minimum qualifying mark. The cutoff for MBBS in AIIMS Bathinda is usually around 600.
- The candidate must register for the AIIMS counselling process. The counselling is conducted by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- During the counselling, the candidate will be allotted a seat in AIIMS Bathinda based on their NEET score, choices made, and availability of seats.

AIIMS Bathinda MBBS Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 60% in the Science stream. The subjects required are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as a compulsory subject.
- Candidates should be Indian citizens and must be at least 17 years old at the time of application.
- Students in their final year, awaiting results, can apply.
- SC/ST categories will be given a relaxation of 10% in the 10+2 percentage requirement.
AIIMS Bathinda MBBS Selection Criteria
- Must have qualified for the NEET (UG) examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Must be at most 25 as of the first day of the academic session.
AIIMS Bathinda MBBS Application Process
1. Candidates are required to appear in the NEET UG examination.
2. Only candidates acquiring NEET cutoff ranks are eligible for counselling.
3. Eligible candidates must participate in the counselling process.

AIIMS Bathinda BSc Nursing Admission Process
- Eligibility: The candidate must have passed the 12th standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 55% aggregate. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories will have a 5% relaxation in the aggregate.
- Registration: The candidate must register for the AIIMS Entrance Examination for B.Sc Nursing (AIIMS-NBE) through the official website of AIIMS Delhi. The application form will be available online from December to January of the admission year.
- Examination: The AIIMS-NBE will be held in April of the year of admission. The examination will be a multiple-choice question (MCQ) based examination with 120 questions. The duration of the examination will be 3 hours.
- Merit list: The merit list for admission to BSc Nursing will be prepared based on the candidate's performance in the AIIMS-NBE. The merit list will be published on the official website of AIIMS Delhi.
- Counselling: The candidates who have qualified in the AIIMS-NBE will be called for counselling. The counselling will be held at AIIMS Bathinda. The candidates will be allotted seats based on their merit and choice of college.
AIIMS Bathinda BSc Nursing Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have completed the 12th grade in the science stream or its equivalent from any recognized institution or board may apply. The minimum overall score required is 55%.
- Candidates should be at least 17 to be eligible for the program.
- Even candidates who are awaiting their results are eligible to apply for admission.
- SC/ST categories receive a relaxation of 5% in the overall score requirement.
AIIMS Bathinda BSc Nursing Selection Criteria
- Candidates must be a citizen of India.
- Aspirants must be at least 17 years of age.
- Candidates must have cleared English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology subjects in 10+2 standard.
- The assessment process will count the following criteria:
- Past academic record in the Higher Secondary or class 12 or equivalent examination.
- Past academic record in the Nursing examination.
- Performance as a Staff Nurse.
- The selection process to seek AIIMS Bathinda admission is entirely based on the marks obtained in the NEET-UG.
AIIMS Bathinda Certificate Course in Respiratory Therapist Admission Process
- The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) from a recognized university or college with a minimum of 60% marks.
- The candidate must have completed the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course from a recognized university or college with a minimum of 60% marks and have two years of work experience in a hospital or nursing home with an ICU facility.
- The candidate must have a valid registration with the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
- The candidate must have a good knowledge of English.
AIIMS Bathinda Certificate Course Respiratory Therapist Eligibility Criteria
- B.Sc. Nursing: Candidates must have completed a B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized Nursing College with an aggregate of 60% marks.
- GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): Candidates must have completed GNM from a recognized nursing college with qualifying marks of over 60%. Additionally, they should possess at least two years of work experience, preferably from a Government medical college/hospital, Private Medical college or nursing home with an ICU facility and a minimum capacity of 50 beds.
AIIMS Bathinda Certificate Course Respiratory Therapist Selection Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized Nursing College with 60% Qualifying marks on the first attempt.
- GNM from a recognized nursing college with > 60% qualifying marks with two years' work experience from preferably a Government medical college/Hospital or Private Medical college or nursing home with an ICU facility and minimum 50-bed capacity.
- Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years.
- Language: The medium of instruction for the course will be English.
- Screening Entrance Test: A screening entrance test will be conducted to shortlist the eligible candidates. The test will be of objective type and will consist of questions on general knowledge, English, and mathematics.
- Interview: The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The interview will be conducted to assess the candidate's aptitude, knowledge, and communication skills.
