ABV IIITM Gwalior [ABVIIITM] : Admissions

1. IIITM Gwalior offers Admissions for various programs, including BTech, MTech, MBA, and PhD. 
2. For BTech Admissions, candidates must take the JEE Main exam and participate in the JoSAA counselling process. 
3. For MTech programs, Admission is based on GATE exam scores.
4. For MBA admissions, candidates must have valid CAT scores. 
5. For PhD Admissions, Candidates must have valid GATE/UGC NET scores, Attend the written test, and interview a panel of experts conducts the interviews by IIITM Gwalior.

1. Apply for JEE Main: The application form is available on the official NTA (National Testing Agency) website. The application fee is INR 600 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and INR 120 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
2. Register for JoSAA Counselling: JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) is the central authority for Admission to BTech in NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutes. You must register for JoSAA counselling to get Admission to BTech at IIITM Gwalior.
3. Select IIITM Gwalior in your JoSAA Choices: You must select IIITM Gwalior in your JoSAA choices to get Admission to the institute.
4. Wait for the Seat Allotment: The seat allotment for BTech at IIITM Gwalior will be done through JoSAA counselling. You will be allotted a seat in the institute if your rank is within the cut-off.
5. Report to the Institute and Complete the Admission Formalities: Once you have been allotted a seat at IIITM Gwalior, you must report and complete the admission formalities. It encompasses providing the necessary documents and fulfilling the admission fee payment.

1. The candidate must have passed the 12th class examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects with a minimum of 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST candidates).

4. Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/PI): The shortlisted candidates will be called for a GD/PI round.

1. An undergraduate degree in any field from an accredited university, with a score of at least 60% or a CGPA of 6.50 on a 10-point scale, is required. Those in their final year of undergraduate studies can also apply. However, their Admission will be on a provisional basis.
2. The CAT score is mandatory for Admission. The minimum CAT score required is 600 for General/EWS/OBC-NCL categories and 500 for SC/ST/PwD categories.

1. Register for GATE: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a nationwide entrance examination for Admission to MTech programs in India. To be considered for MTech admission at IIITM Gwalior, candidates must register for GATE and achieve a qualifying score.
2. Fill out the Application Form: The application form for MTech at IIITM Gwalior can be filled out online. The application form will be available on the institute's website.
3. Upload the Required Documents: The following documents must be uploaded along with the application form:
1.  GATE scorecard
2.  Graduation degree certificate
3.  Provisional or final mark sheet of graduation
4.  Category certificate (if applicable)

4. Pay the Application Fee: The application fee for MTech at IIITM Gwalior is INR 1000.
5. Apply for CCMT Counselling: After completing the application process, candidates must apply for CCMT Counselling. CCMT is a centralized counselling process for Admission to MTech programs in India.
6. Get Admitted: If you are selected for counselling, you will be admitted to the MTech program at IIITM Gwalior.

2. Register for JoSAA Counselling: JoSAA counselling is a centralized process for Admission to all the participating institutes. The JoSAA counselling application form can be completed online on the JoSAA website.
3. Wait for the JoSAA Seat Allotment Results: The JoSAA seat allotment results for the BTech + MTech (Integrated) program at IIITM Gwalior will be announced on the JoSAA website. If you are allotted a seat in the program, you must accept the seat and pay the admission fee.
4. Report to the Institute on the Specified Date: Once you have accepted the seat and paid the admission fee, you must report to the institute on the specified date. You will be required to submit the original documents and take part in the orientation program.

1. Completing the 12th grade with mandatory subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English, is a prerequisite.
2. Minimum aggregate of 60% marks (or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale) for Gen/EWS/OBC-NCL, whereas 55% marks (or CGPA 6.0 on a 10-point scale) for SC/ST/PwD.
3. Must have qualified for the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination - Mains) exam.

The final Selection Process of candidates is based on personal interviews and their JEE (Main) and GATE scores. The interview will assess the candidate's academic performance, communication skills, and aptitude for the program.

5.  A letter of recommendation from a professor.
3. Pay the Application Fee: The application fee for PhD admission at IIITM Gwalior is INR 500/- for general candidates and INR 250/- for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
4. Entrance Exams: Candidates must have valid GATE/UGC NET entrance exam scores.
5. Attend the Written Test and Interview: The selection process for PhD admission at IIITM Gwalior consists of a Written test and an interview. The written test and the interview are a chance for the selection committee to assess your research potential.
