Sushrutha College of Nursing Admission Process

The admission process for Sushrutha College of Nursing is as follows:

  1. Online Application: Candidates can apply online through the college website.

  1. Check the Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have passed PUC/PDC (10+2) or equivalent examination conducted by Boards/Councils/Intermediate Education established by the state Govt./ Central Govt. with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects.

  5. The application form will be scrutinised, and eligible applicants will be called for a counselling round.

Sushrutha College of Nursing BSc Nursing Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must have reached a minimum age of 17 by December 31st of the year they seek admission.
  • The minimum educational qualification is successful completion of the 10+2 level with Science (PCB) and English Core/English Elective, achieving an aggregate of at least 50% marks from a recognised board such as AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or an equivalent board.
  • Students must meet the criteria for medical fitness.
  • Candidates taking the 10+2 Science examination through the National Institute of Open School and having secured at least 50% marks are also eligible.

  3. Read the admission requirements carefully.
  4. Download the application form and fill it out completely.
  5. Attach the required documents:

Sushrutha College of Nursing GNM Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Criteria for Admission: The minimum age for admission is 17 years, while the maximum is 35 years. However, there is no age restriction for ANM/LHV courses.
  • Minimum Educational Qualifications: Completing the 10+2 level or its equivalent is required, preferably with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology), and achieving an aggregate of at least 45% marks.

Additional Eligibility Criteria

  • Individuals who have completed the 10+2 vocational ANM course (revised after 2001) from a school recognised by the Indian Nursing Council are eligible.
  • Those who have undergone ANM training (10+1 years) must have also passed the +2 or equivalent examination.

Admission Process: Admissions are conducted once a year.

Medical Fitness: Students must meet the criteria for medical fitness.

Sushrutha College of Nursing MSc Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must hold registration as a Nurse and a Midwife with a State Nursing Registration Council or an equivalent qualification.
  • The minimum educational requirement is the successful completion of a B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Hons. Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
  • Candidates should have pursued their B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Hons. Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council.
  • A minimum of one year of work experience is necessary after completing a Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
  • Additionally, candidates should have at least one year of work experience before or after completing Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
