REVA University Admissions

REVA University offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. The admission process is based on the following criteria:

  • Direct Admission: Direct admission is possible at REVA University for some of the undergraduate and postgraduate programs. However, the eligibility requirements for direct access vary from program to program.
  • Merit-Based Admission: Merit-based admission is the most common way to get into REVA University. Students are admitted based on their required exam scores and previous academic performance.
  • Quota Seats: At REVA University, seats are allocated for students belonging to specific categories like SC/ST/OBC/PH. At REVA University, seats are allocated for students in particular categories like SC/ST/OBC/PH.

REVA University BTech Admission Process

  1. Check the Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for BTech admission at REVA University are as follows:
    1. Pass the PUC/ 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum aggregate score of 45%(40% for SC/ST) from any state or government-recognised organisation.
    2. Candidates appearing for the KCET/COMEDK UGET/JEE Main/other national-level examinations can also apply.
  2. Apply Online: The application form can be completed online on the REVA University website. 
  3. Upload the Required Documents: The following documents must be uploaded along with the application form:
    1. A scanned copy of the photograph
    2. A scanned copy of the signature
    3. A scanned copy of the qualifying exam mark sheet
    4. A scanned copy of the caste certificate (if applicable)
  4. Take the Entrance Exam: REVA University conducts its entrance exam, REVA CET, for admission to BTech courses. The exam is held in April/May every year.
  5. Wait for the Results: The results of the REVA CET will be announced in June/July. The shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.
  6. Attend the Personal Interview: The personal interview will be conducted to assess the Candidate’s academic performance, communication skills, and aptitude for engineering.
  7. Get Admission: The candidates who clear the personal interview will be offered admission to BTech courses at REVA University.

REVA University BTech Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, candidates should have finished 12 years of education or equivalent and taken mandatory Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics courses.
Applicants must have a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.

REVA University BTech Selection Criteria

The selection process for REVA University BTech programs is based on the following criteria: 

  • Performance in the REVA UET
  • Academic performance in the qualifying examination
  • REVA UET: 
    • The REVA UET is a computer-based test held twice yearly, in June and December.
    • The examination comprises 100 questions with multiple-choice answers encompassing diverse topics, such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, and English.
    • The test is 2 hours long.
  • Personal Interview: 
    • The personal interview is a chance for the admission committee to get to know you better and assess your suitability for the program.
    • The interview will cover various topics, including your academic interests, extracurricular activities, and career goals.

REVA University BArch Admission Process

  1. Check the Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% in PCM and 50% aggregate marks. You must also have passed the NATA exam conducted by the Council of Architecture.
  2. Apply Online: The application form can be found on the REVA University website. The application fee is INR 1000.
  3. Submit Your Documents: Along with the application form, you must submit the following documents:
    1. 10+2 or equivalent mark sheet
    2. NATA scorecard
    3. Transfer certificate (TC)

  4. Appear for the Entrance Test: REVA University conducts an entrance test for admission to the B.Arch. Program. The test is held in two phases:
    1. Phase 1 is an online screening test.
    2. Phase 2: This final selection test is held on the REVA University campus.
  5. Wait for the Results: The entrance test results will be announced on the REVA University website.
  6. Shortlisted Candidates will be called for an interview. A panel of experts from the School of Architecture will conduct the interview.
  7. Selected Candidates will be admitted to the B. Arch. Program.

REVA University BArch Eligibility Criteria

  • Pass in PUC/10+2/Pre-University Course or equivalent.
  • Minimum 50% in PCM scores.
  • Minimum 50% marks in the aggregate of 10+2 level examination.

OR 

  • Pass in 10+2 or Diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks required.

OR

  • International Baccalaureate Diploma after ten years of schooling with PCM.
  • At least 50% aggregate marks.
  • Students must also pass the NATA conducted by the Council of Architecture.

REVA University BCom Admission Process

  1. Visit the REVA University website and click on “Admissions”.
  2. Click “Apply Online” and select the BCom program you want to apply for.
  3. Fill out the application form and pay the application fee.
  4. Upload the required documents, such as your mark sheets, passport-size photographs, and a copy of your identity proof.
  5. Await the admission committee’s review of your application.
  6. Shortlisted candidates will receive invitations for an interview 3. The selected candidates will be offered seats in the BCom program.

REVA University BCom Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must have completed 10+2 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 50% in the qualifying examination.

REVA University BBA Admission Process

  1. Check the Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for admission to the BBA program at REVA University are as follows:
    1. Minimum 50% aggregate in 10th and 12th (or equivalent)
    2. English as a subject in 10th and 12th (or equivalent)
    3. Age limit: 17 to 22 years as of June of the academic year.

  8. Note: There is no entrance exam for BBA at Reva University Bangalore. Admission is based on the Candidate’s academic merit.

REVA University BBA Eligibility Criteria

Pass in PUC/10+2 with an aggregate of 75% from any recognised Board/Council or any other qualification recognised as equivalent.

REVA University BCA Admission Process

  1. Check the Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for admission to the BCA program at REVA University are as follows:
    1. Minimum 45% aggregate in PUC/10+2 (or equivalent)
    2. English as a subject in PUC/10+2 (or equivalent)
    3. Age limit: 17 to 22 years as of June 30, 2023

REVA University BSc Admission Process

  1. Check the Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for admission to the REVA University BSc program are as follows:

    3. A valid score in the REVA CET or other equivalent entrance exams

REVA University BSc Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission must have passed the PUC / 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with at least one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Electronics, or Technical Vocational subjects. Additionally, they should have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the aggregate of the subjects mentioned above. The qualifying examination must be conducted by a Board recognised by the respective State Government / Central Government / Union Territories or any other qualification recognised as equivalent.

REVA University BA LLB Admission Process

  1. Check the Eligibility Criteria: The following criteria for admission to the BBA LLB (Hons) program at REVA University:
    1. Must have passed PUC or Senior Secondary School course (‘+2’) or equivalent from a recognised university of India or outside.
    2. Must have secured a minimum of 45% (40% in case of SC/ST) marks in aggregate.
    3. Must have a good score in law entrance examinations, such as CLAT, LSAT, or REVACLAT.

  • Candidates must have completed one of the following qualifications:
    • PUC (Pre-University Course)
    • Senior Secondary School course (‘+2’)
    • An equivalent qualification is 11+1 or ‘A’ level in the Senior School Leaving Certificate course.
  • The qualifying examination should be conducted by a recognised university in India or abroad.
  • It must be administered by a Senior Secondary Board or an equivalent body constituted or recognised by the Union or a State Government.
  • Applicants are required to attain a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.

  5. Wait for the Results: KEA will announce the results of the Karnataka PG-CET exam. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

REVA University MS Admission Process

REVA University MS Eligibility Criteria

  • B.E./B.Tech. Degree in ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering), IT (Information Technology), EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering), CSE (Computer Science Engineering), ISE (Information Science Engineering), TE (Telecommunication Engineering), or BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications).
  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Science, or Information Technology from any recognised University or Institution.
  • A minimum aggregate of 50% marks is required for eligibility.
  • SC/ST candidates have a reduced minimum requirement of 45%

REVA University MBA Admission Process

REVA University MCA Admission Process

REVA University MCA Eligibility Criteria

MCA
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree of three years with Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science Programming/Computer Application/Business Mathematics/Business Statistics as one of the significant/optional subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) from any recognised University/Institution. Additionally, any other qualification recognised as equivalent is also acceptable.
MCA (Lateral Entry)
Applicants must have a B.E./B.Tech. Degree in ECE/IT/EEE/CSE/ISE/TE/BCA or an M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Computer Science/Mathematics/Information Science/Information Technology from any recognised University/Institution with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Additionally, candidates with an AMIE or any other qualification recognised as equivalent are also eligible to apply.

REVA University MA Eligibility Criteria

REVA University MCom Admission Process

  2. Click on “Apply Online” and select the MCom program.

REVA University MSc Eligibility Criteria

MSc(Physics): Applicants must have a three-year Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics as one of the significant/optional subjects and a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) from any recognised University/Institution. MSc(Biotechnology): Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, including Agriculture, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Medicine, Veterinary, Dairy, Fisheries, Horticulture, or Forestry, with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in aggregate from any recognised University/Institution. Additionally, any other qualification recognised as equivalent is also acceptable.
MSc(Biochemistry): Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree of 3 years with Chemistry/Biochemistry as one of the significant/optional subjects and a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) from any recognised University/Institution. Additionally, any other qualification recognised as equivalent is also acceptable.
MSc(Chemistry): Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree of 3 years with Chemistry as one of the significant/optional subjects and a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) from any recognised University/Institution. Additionally, any other qualification recognised as equivalent is also acceptable.

REVA University PhD Admissions

Reva University offers a PhD. Admission for candidates interested in research-based programs. The PhD program offers 17 specialisations, each requiring three years for completion.
To be eligible, candidates must possess a master’s or professional degree in the relevant subject with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks from any recognised university. The selection process involves the Reva University Ph.D. Entrance Test (REVA PET).

REVA University PhD Admission Process

REVA University PhD Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the PhD program, candidates must have either a Master’s degree or a professional degree considered equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body. The minimum requirement is at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale if a grading system is followed). Alternatively, candidates who have cleared the M.Phil. coursework with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) and have completed the M.Phil. Degrees are also eligible for the Ph.D. program.
