BTech Civil Engineering

B Tech civil engineering course is of 4 years, and it mainly deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the structure and work like bridges, tunnels, canals, buildings, airports, highways, railroads, waterways, and canals. BE civil engineering degree makes a student well capable and responsible for planning and designing a project.

B Tech Civil Engineering Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed 10+2 with PCM is the basic requirement to take admission in B.E Civil Engineering program with 50%. However, the required percentage criteria depend on college, diploma graduates in the mechanical or related stream are also eligible for the course. Candidates who graduated with a science bachelor's degree are eligible for this course.

B Tech Civil Engineering Admission Process

There are two kinds of admission process for the program enrolment. Entrance based and merit-based. 

Entrance Based Admission: Here the admission is allotted based on the national and state level entrance exams such as, ComedK, KCET, Jee Main, AIEEE etc. Students with the relevant cutoff marks will get the admission in the respective colleges after counseling. 

Merit-Based Admission: This also can be called as Management Quota admission or Direct admission. In this admission process, the student has to apply directly to the desired university or college through their application process. Some of them offer online and some offline.
