The programme consists of the English language and literature that how it came in modern form along with highlighting many aspects of English society through Drama, Poetry, Novel and Play, etc. The BA English (Hons) is a 3-year course and it is provided by all the major institutes, colleges, and universities across the globe. 

Bachelor of Arts [BA] Hons. - English Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission to the programme are as given below. 

10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45-50% marks from a recognized board or equivalent CGPA with English as a compulsory language. 5% relaxation for the reserved category students. 

Bachelor of Arts [BA] Hons. - English Admission Process

There are two kinds of admission process for the program enrolment. Entrance-based and merit-based. 

Entrance Based Admission: Here the admission is allotted based on the entrance exams conducted by the respective institution. 

Merit-Based Admission: This also can be called Management Quota admission or Direct admission. The admission is allotted based on the marks obtained in the competitive examination. In this admission process, the student has to apply directly to the desired university or college through their application process. Some of them offer online and some offline.
